Millwood Park

MILLWOOD PARK

Established in 1946, Millwood City Park is located in the heart of Millwood on Frederick Avenue just east of Argonne Road.

The five-acre park includes a playground, wading pool, splash pad, two picnic shelters, restrooms, tennis courts, small basketball courts and soccer field.

Park hours are dawn to dusk and restrooms are open seasonally.

Amenities

  • The park has two picnic shelters perfect for reunions, large picnics or parties.
  • The City does not take reservations and use of the shelters is on a first come-first serve basis
  • Additional park amenities include basketball courts, tennis courts and a large open field appropriate for team sports.

First opened in July of 1954, the Millwood Wading Pool has been the center piece of Millwood Park for generations.

The concrete pool is 24 feet across and approximately 14 inches deep with sprinklers located along the edge.

The pool opens the Saturday after school gets out (We follow the West Valley School District schedule) and remains open through Labor Day, conditions permitting. A lifeguard is on duty anytime the pool is open to ensure the safety of our littlest citizens!
